Linen/towels and cleaning of the Villa
					 |

					| |

					|
					All bed linen
and towels are provided (normally one bath towel and one
hand towel per person) you will need to bring your own beach
towels. A change of fresh linen will be left with you for
stays of 2 weeks or more.
During your stay we may need to service the swimming pool
and Garden areas; this may be more than once during your
stay in order to water garden plants and maintain pool
hygiene (usually high season), however you will be informed
of this by your greeter usually the day before any services
are carried out so as not to encroach on your privacy during
your holiday. Service time spent at the Villa is kept to a
minimum usually no more than 1hr providing there are no
					problems.

					| Suitability |

					| |

					|

The villa may not be suitable for the very elderly or infirm
as there are several stairs around the property (stairs are
gated either at the top or bottom and can be locked if
requested by you the guest) When bringing young children,
parental supervision is always recommended e.g. when there
is a pool, stairs or walled area etc. We do have several
prickly plants around the gardens and if touched can cause
skin irritation, so again if you have children supervision
is recommended at all times. |

					| Swimming Pool |

					|   |

					|
					The pool here
at the Villa is not heated but can be used from April to the
					end of October.
					The size of
the pool is 10m x 5m approx and has inset lighting for those
warm evenings when you can’t resist taking a dip (It
resembles bath water between July and September)
					The depths of
the pool are: at the shallow end  (1.2 m deep approx) with
walk-in mosaic steps and at the deepest end: (1.9m deep
					approx) with metal steps.

					*Please note:
the pool is not fenced off so we recommend children be
supervised at all times during your stay at the villa.

					As we
want your stay to be a pleasure to remember,  we always advise that children of
all ages are never left unattended, and that adult supervision
is by the pool area, at all times

					We have safety information at
					the Villa |

					The drive:

The villa is privately high gated and has been landscaped to
give a Mediterranean look and feel. It has been planted with
palms, Algarve’s, lavender, grape vines, Nispero fruit,
apple trees and lots more. The gardens below have small
Lemon trees, Almond trees, Manderine, Grape vines, Aloe
Vera, different varieties of Cactus, lots of sweet
Honeysuckles, Jasmine, Bougainvilla, lots of ground covering
					plants and lavender.

					Terraces:
We have 3 good-sized shaded terraces here at the villa, 1st
is the top terrace balcony with panoramic views that are
sure to take your breath away so bring your camera, 2nd is
the arched terrace below where you can enjoy breakfast at
sunrise and al fresco dinning of an evening and at sunset
whilst relaxing with family or friends enjoying the ambience
by the refreshing pool. The last is located in the new BQ
area that can be used from sunrise to sunset! The choice is
					yours.

					We also have
Spanish Chino stoned areas and a white washed wall area
under the bridge that has rustic Mediterranean pots inserted
with lovely flowers. Both areas lead to the Spanish built
coal or wood burning barbecue kitchen area where we are sure
you are to spend a few nights of your holiday barbecuing
some marinated fresh Meats and Fish with a chilled glass of
					wine.
The Spanish supermarkets sell fantastic Meat, Chicken,
Beefsteaks, and Racks of ribs and a lot more, fantastic on
the barbecue. You can buy charcoal from the local
supermarket in Comares. The fish here is very good
especially the prawns you can buy 1 kilo of tiger prawns
that feeds 4-5 people for as little as 7 Euros (just under
£4) you can ask to have any fish you buy cleaned and
					filleted for you.

Located in Torre del Mar is an English run shop named
					EASTENDERS, they sell English sausages/Burgers/Chips/pork
pies/Gammon steaks etc as well as English
					sauces/cereals/stock cubes/sweets/cakes/crisps most things
that you might miss! But to save money you could bring your
own as they are more expensive than at home bring squeeze
					plastic bottles not glass.

					|

					Lighting |

					| |

					|
					There is
plenty of lighting in side of the villa and out side too! We
have inserted pool lights as well as other lighting situated
around the pool, with additional lighting on the terrace
above and under the arched terrace below as well as to the
sides of the Villa and BQ area.
The lights located along the drive way can be turned on at
night if you are venturing out.

We also have extra lighting out side in the planted areas of
the gardens these are cane garden lights that can be used
then topped up with special oil so you can enjoy a little
ambiance of an evening whilst dinning with loved ones,
friends or family, (extra oil can be brought from a shop
called LA CASA in the multiplex shopping centre El INGENIO
only 35 min drive approx from the Villa).

There is ample room for everyone in the gardens of the
villa especially if you are coming to stay with family or
friends you can all have some privacy of your own where you
					can relax.

					General Information |

					| |

					|

					Rubbish and hygiene |

					| |

					|
					We do ask and
it is very much appreciated if you leave the property clean
and tidy on your departure and in the same clean and tidy
state as at the start of your holiday rental most cleaning
products are provided by us to help maintain standards
(rubbish must never be left for hygiene reasons) and N0 1 it
will attracts rodents, Cats, Flies, Ants etc and did you
know that rat urine attracts Snakes! Yes I did say Snakes, I
can say honestly because we have good standards here at the
villa and it has been kept free from rubbish the most we
have had to deal with is ants, woodlice, flies and wasps I
would also advise that you must cover all food, it’s best
not to leave anything uncovered or left over food and drink
outside in the garden. This is especially important in the
summer months. The Villa will be inspected and a changeover
will be carried out on your departure day, if found to be in
an unsatisfactory state or there are breakages or damages
that have not been replaced by you then charges will apply
and be deducted from your DS/Deposit. This is to ensure our
high standards benefit all our guests staying here at the
					villa. |

					| |

					|

					Ancillary services |

					| |

					|
					If there is an
Emergency during your stay at the Villa, please contact your
greeter who will do their very best in trying to assist you.
You will find all our contact numbers at the villa on the
pin board and in the welcome folder. If a hospital emergency
arises, providing your greeter is contactable at the time
they will try to personally accompany you to the nearest
hospital. If the emergency is life threatening then the
appropriate action of calling the emergency services should
be taken by yourselves, again emergency numbers are on the
pin board and in the welcome folder we recommend you save
all emergency numbers on all guests mobiles at the start of
your villa holiday, encase of any emergency’s. |

					| |

					| |

					|
					Privacy
					and Noise |

					| |

					|
					The Villa
enjoys a rural location so any noise will not be a problem,
but we do ask our guests to be responsible. Our Spanish
neighbours are really pleasant people and do not overlook or
encroach on your privacy; we always have a few BQ’s and
party nights at the Villa with family or friends when we
stay here. Please relax and enjoy yourselves after all
that’s what a holiday is all about! At fiesta time you may
hear some music in the distance and celebration fireworks
being let off. This is the norm throughout Spanish pueblos
(villages) the most you are lightly to hear is the sweet
tinkering bells from the goats being herded in the distance
or yourselves having a great time! |

					| |

					|

					| |

					|
					Guest’s
arrival commences at 4pm and ends at 10am on day of
departure. This is to ensure that we have sufficient time to
prepare the Villa for our guest’s arrival. We therefore
recommend that you book your travel to fit in with these
timings. There is, of course, more flexibility with early or
late season bookings or if we do not have a changeover. This
could also include extra days etc. you will be notified a
few days before your arrival if an early check-in is
					available to you. |

					| |

					|

Season dates and the Weather |

					| |

					|
					Our Villa is
available to rent for holiday lets from the months of March
to the end of November. Early and late season can be a
little chilly, usually of an evening; so we recommend a
little warmer clothing for these dates.
We have wall mounted remote control fan heaters in the
bedrooms and a log burning fire in the lounge including
air-conditioning that can provide extra heating if necessary
for the cooler months, the climate here is coldest usually
from January to early March although can not be guaranteed.
In the warmer season the air-conditioning units can be used
on the ground floor to keep you cool as well as the wall
mounted remote control fans installed in bedrooms 2, 3 and 4
as the master bedroom has its own air-conditioning unit.

The waters of the Mediterranean Sea bath Málaga and the
regulating effect of the sea ensure a pleasant and mild
climate for Málaga here in Spain. There’s plenty of sun as
Malaga receives about 320 hours of sun every year; the
average temperature is about 22 degrees Celsius; the hottest
months being July and August. The winters are not too cold
(between 16 to 19 degrees Celsius) as the mountain ranges
protect Malaga from the cold north winds. The rainfall in
Malaga occurs during autumn and winter.

The villa poolside is bathed in sunshine from sunrise 7:30am
depending on the time of season till late afternoon (6:30pm)
when the sun then moves around to the side of the villa
until sunset! Our prices reflect low, medium, and high
season. The high season being almost guaranteed sunshine,
unfortunately although mostly fantastic weather here in
sunny Málaga we cannot predict the climate exactly. The pool
and sunbathing terrace has been positioned to maximise the
Spanish sunshine hours in particular for all you sun lovers
					out there!

Our villa was built in a position so that everyone could
enjoy the best of the sunshine and fantastic mountain views
almost 360 degrees. Here inland it is usually much hotter
than on the coast and the shaded arched terraces and BQ area
have been built to protect and give some relief to those
guests that find the searing heat too much.

I love the sun myself and usually when staying at the villa
(when I get the chance!) enjoy the pool and sun terraces
during the day and move around the side of the villa to get
the last of the rays until sunset.
