Malaga Airport Directions for our Guests to Villa Amarilla

Malaga Airport is located about 6km West of the Malaga city, just off the main Coastal Road (N340) and the new toll road, which runs to Estepona.

When leaving the airport by car, and approaching the N340, make sure you take the LEFT-HAND lane, which takes you across the flyover and goes to Malaga, Granada, Motril, Nerja and the Eastern Costa del Sol, whereas the right-hand lane is for Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Gibraltar, Cadiz, and all other points on the western Costa del Sol.

Directions from the motorway through Olías up into the mountains (scenic route) to Villa Amarilla.

When you exit the airport you will cross a mini roundabout make sure that you take the left hand lane and drive over the flyover heading for Malaga, Granada, Motril, Nerja and the Eastern Costa del Sol.

From Malaga airport set your tachometer trip to zero. After the first roundabout stay in the left hand lane and follow signs for Malaga and Motril on the A7, E15 (not Torremolinos) Keep on this road and follow signs for Ronda de Malaga, Motril and Almeria.

At 13.5km you will reach the junction of the A7 and the A45 to Antequera. Stay on the A7, E15 (keep out of the right hand lane as this takes you to the A45).

Be vigilant as this next exit as it is easy to miss. AT ABOUT 21 km YOU WILL SEE A SIGN FOR OLIAS, JUNCTION 246B TAKE THIS (RIGHT HAND LANE) the actual junction is 1km beyond. This will take you on to the old motorway where you take Junction 5 for Olias and Comares (Olias is at 33.3k).

Follow this road until you come to a junction at the junction take the road to your right, which will lead you up in to the mountains and all the way through Olías, this seems quite a long and twisted road however there are no turn offs to make. Carry on going straight and then you will finally arrive at the Village of Los Ventorros (49km) as you drive through you will see a Shop to your left as well as a the Spanish Restaurant Bar El Molino, there is also an English Restaurant Bar opening soon and a shop that will be selling English food and food products located less than 5 minutes walking distance from the villa.

Drive on and in less than a minute 1^st left around a bend is a small turning on your left there is a sign for Masmullar, Romo and Colmenar you will find that the villa is located directly below the sign immediately down to your right!
